I've a wide taste in music but especially modal jazz, reggae (I do some reggae DJ'ing), drum n bass, British and Australian punk, new wave and indie, soul, funk and lots inbetween

I am a reggae moderator and happy to give any help or advice on reggae submissions - just email me.

Also do some writing about boxing at 15rounds.com

None of my music is for sale. Cheers!

Looks like being one of the best records of 2020. Nubya Garcia is really expanding the depth and breadth of her playing and her compositions. Seriously good. Very pretty green splattered vinyl too

I originally ordered from Bandcamp, but they cancelled and refunded me. I am not sure if it was this version of the record or the white version, so worth checking with them

This is again a quite extraordinary record. Almost everything International Anthem puts out is outstanding, and manages to sound like almost nothing else.

This captures Pharoah at perhaps his most inspired. Its a wonderful record, and a wonderful sounding record. When he bawls "Love Is Everywhere" you know he is trying to will it to be so

There is so much going on here, that you really need to give it your full concentration. Don't do anything else just listen. Don't even eat. The first couple of times I played it, I thought it quite fragmented, but it was actually me that wasn't... See full review

Something wrong with this pressing. I have to run up the speed to over 34RPM for it to sound even half decent but it still sounds as though its a cassette being played on a player running out of batteries. No - its not my equipment. It just sounds awful

I have this version, but the plastic shrink wrap had the sticker "Rough Trade coloured vinyl, limited edition of 500 copies, hand numbered" on it. And it was priced as such. So watch out for that. Given the current state of global postal services its... See full review

Umm, I am not really sure what the point of this was. Its a lot of noodling around, pleasant enough I suppose, but very rarely lands anywhere. Disappointing

2019 was such a vintage year that we are already into the second quarter of 2020 and I am still listening to 2019 releases for the first time. And this one was worth the wait. Cleanly percussive soundscapes, ambient yet driving and purposeful. Its really good See full review

Quite surprised more people haven't got this - maybe in a year of great releases it just got missed. But this is an excellent record, quiet, reflective and soulful. Side A is particularly good, especially "Twenty Eight"

A wonderful record, at the cutting edge of what's possible in a loosely defined "jazz" genre. Remarkable virtuosity and creativity

Intro "Ladies and Gentlemen, How do?" by Jack Howarth as Albert Tatlock part of The Coronation Street Cast
Outro "Nibbled To Death Buying a Copy"? by Peter Jones (10) as The Narrator from Douglas Adams - The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy

I would add this to credits, but my copy... See full review

Strong contender for album of the year. So primal, so lyrical it just moves you. Superb. But virtually everything on IARC does that - its a label totally on its game

Its quite extraordinary the variety and quality of the music that the "I'm New Here" sessions have produced. I really liked the original album and the Jamie XX remixes, but this takes it to a whole new level

Same for me. I thought there was some sort of marbling effect on the record, but no, its ink thats rubbed off. Great music though as you say
