a-Ha is one of the "one hit wonders" that give you a lot if you dig deeper (like Adam Ant and Big Country). This album of different takes is pretty enlightening. It's cool to hear a slightly less refined and more raw sound to the top brass of 80s pop.... See full review

Remarkable that Happy Rhodes got enough attention for this release to happen. What's more amazing is that the release is a worthwhile compilation with good mastering and excellent song selection. Whether it's a primer for people who are finding Happy... See full review

Mine is good as well. I think that modern picture discs don't deserve the hate that the older generations have received. For every newer picture disc that sounds horrible there are many regular pressings that are noisy. I seem to have my pop music on... See full review

I only wish the cover had some more thought and design!

The art of the EP is best understood when the artists know that there small selection of songs is the full story. These four songs are immensely complimentary and nearly perfect in execution. I have zero complaints about this release. Simply amazing.

Too weird to be truly popular, Georgia gives us some off kilter synth-pop that is catchy and wonderful. From a school of thought similar to Grimes or maybe even the Knife, we have pop music here from the internet age where influences are exceedingly... See full review

As far as the commercialization of "goth" / post-punk, there were surely many worse records than this that were released. There are some nice features here that truly make the record stand out a little bit from the peers. Some songs really have a... See full review

This is a surreal record. I am usually not into roots wannabe stuff, but this is so out of whack I adore it. Everything about the record is special to me.

This album is amazing. I am so glad it was cheap on here! I picked it up on a whim, and am very happy that I did!

It seems to me to be the middle ground between bauhaus and Bikini Kill. A little rough around the edges. Dark enough to be goth, for... See full review

This is simply one of those records that you remember the first time you heard. Like a Can record, or Jimi Hendrix. It is just memorable. It is odd and disorienting. With headphones and closed eyes it is like a bizarre dream.

I do not have another... See full review

Although I like their purely prog stuff, I think they just got better and better the more they went towards pop. I find this to be one of their most listenable records!

I can't believe the quality of this release. It seems on par in parts with Brighter Now. Amazing work in the remastering.

This is really an amazing record. The closest thing to a true female Bowie I can think of. Varied and quite competent musically. Added bonus: lots of fretless bass a la Kate Bush and Japan
