Hooky just wants what due, not mega fame. They ALL are to blame for the falling out, but Bernie seems to be the prima donna in all of it.

The number was 1500 at one point. It might have changed?

Fantastic package and amazing audiophile quality LP. Can't beat it for the price, but I would get in sooner than later.

Sounds great. great value in the box as a whole.

2020, you're going to pay at least 4k for a great copy. Is that reasonable? Maybe.

Goldmine is soooo behind on this, quite frankly, so is Discogs. Most hardcore dealers you talk to say this is a 5,000-7k record all-day and that 4 grand is under-valued. The problem is finding mint originals that people are willing to let go of.

Not to worry - she is re-releasing her entire catalog, starting next month in chronological order.

No signed copies of the single. The deluxe LP had some signed bundles when the preorders were announced.

I have an original, haven't looked closely at the repress, but it seems they are identical.

Unless the quantity numbers are off (possible), I don't see a repress anytime soon. Demand was above decent amounts, but the RSD release took care of that. WB would really have to up the ante and mastering and packaging to entice more buyers (and...

This version as it appears here, will be unlikely to get a repress, at least for quite some time. For one, rights to the music of (Happy End) and others are trickier to procure globally. Probably the reason for no Bill Murray bit. Also if they were to...

True, very true. Warner Bros, didn't do anyone any favors.

At our shop we got 18 copies, a great amount, but we ordered almost triple that amount, they were gone in the first 10 minutes.

People really do LOVE this film and soundtrack, more than what most people assumed when RSD happened. This release took many by surprise in terms of popularity. Couple that the stories of possible shortages due to distro problems, and there ya have it.

I think this is that rare case of actual fans buying and holding their copies more than just flippers. 8000 copies (if we are to believe that number) is a good amount, and one to make flippers shy away from these in the first place. I think the cult...

I think demand is/was A LOT higher for this than what most people assumed. I was working in a record shop on RSD, and while we had a good amount, copies of this FLEW out the door. It was definitely in the top 5 most requested releases on RSD that...

Fantastic release of Cannonball doing what he does best. Wonderful booklet included with some great photos. Some playful banter in between tracks. A must add for CA fan.

I've read there are 3000 copies of the limited version, don't quote me on that though.

Not very many pressed on green for the web store, my brick and mortar shop only got 3 copies of it. No surprise copies got sent out.
|

Note: the sleeves on these are a bit larger than normal.

Sounds great, and the gatefold packaging is nice as well.

This version of the LP sounds amazing. Another home run for Mofi.

It has been, and always will be, a nice slice of sonic goodness.

the classic case of supply and demand with this one, 2500 just isn't very much for a band of RH's stature.

They did sell out on the web store very quickly. However, they did send out emails about this to those who had ordered from Marr's web store previously, so I think serious fans grabbed them as well.

Not all the vinyl (records) sold at the gigs were signed. Depended on the gig. Just hand poured colored vinyl in a clear vinyl sleeve with insert.

That number was increased. I think they were at 3000 copies last time I looked into it.
|

I believe the timeframe for ordering this was 48 hours.

Order mine the last week of July and got the delivery confirmation this morning.

My copy sounds and looks fantastic. Nice artwork reproduction as well.

Just black vinyl from what I have found. I asked my record dealer and he was unaware of any colored releases, and he also said with a low run like that it is less likely they'd split the vinyl into colors.

It was only 25 upon release. The shorter version was done against David's wishes anyway.
|

It will be included in one of the upcoming Bowie boxes. Hence the limited license that was given.
|

I know at my local record shop it was easily available for a good while, I bought one a week or so after the initial drop date and they still had copies a month later. I think some Bowie fans might have balked at the higher than average retail price...

It's 19.99 on vinyl, the 8.99 price is for the mp3.

There is no official word that there is black vinyl for this release. Only green. 5000 copies.
|
![]() |
Or just line up early and get it at a record store on RSD. 5000 copies was plenty to go around for RSD. Most stores in my city had a dozen or more copies each.

Who said it was rare? To a flipper it's a problem, to a record buyer, it's not. I think its a good amount for these SBS releases.
