I've been a big fan of shoegaze, new wave, post-punk, dream pop, and indie (and related sub genres) for many, many years. I have a large playlist I've curated with 1-song-per-artist which is a great way to expose yourself to classic alternative and modern, up-and-comers. (Currently well over 1000+ songs/artists and not just filler.) This links to it on Spotify -> http://bit.ly/moosak

This sold for more money before RSD 2018 flooded the market with reissues. This won’t sell for nearly what it used to sell for.

I suspect it's finished but they are waiting for covid to pass so they can properly tour and promote it. I am longing for it and waiting patiently.

Why not the promo? It’s the same press with a slightly different cover.

Such a good EP with 2 amazing tracks that aren't found on the b-side compilation (Like Cats & Dogs), Crawling Over Me and Let Me Down Again. (Saccharine did make it.)
Catherine Wheel was prolific with song writing in the early 90s and thankfully they... See full review |

"If it's officially marketed as such, it should be okay for submission uniquely, but evidence should definitely be provided that it is an official real separate edition. (either via specific wording directly printed on the release or via official...

Check out Bruce's cousin's band The Catherine Wheel. They were a 90s British alternative/shoegaze band. Fans of Iron Maiden may want to start with their albums Chrome or Happy Days though both have different...

I'm curious how the 7" that came with this is different, if at all, from this Film School - Dear Me? Can't the 7" and the other LP be combined to create this release?

I think a different runout of any kind, regardless of how minute, is a different release. Unfortunately a lot of people either don't enter in the complete runouts or misread them so there is always the risk of different releases being wrong. Not...

This is my favorite release of the year so far. Didn't expect them to put out 2 albums in a row this solid.
Recommended if you like: Wire, Preoccupations, Fews, Fontaines DC, Idles, Mush, Omni, Parquet Courts, Protomartyr, Shame, Silverbacks, Ought,... See full review |

My first one had the flutter problem but the replacement is nice. No issues at all.

Some of these were signed too for mail order pre-sale. . .

I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff... and it's still available from VMP for $19. (so much for the seller advertising "you will not find it cheaper" for $35)

This is a solid album... fans of this might enjoy Marble Arch ('Children of the Slump')

I find this rather boring and safe. I first heard Tame Impala in early 2010 and saw them later that year. I never imagined they (he) would shift gears to this. It's like they lost a key guitarist/songwriter. I find nothing about this engaging or...

This is pretty good. Fans of DIIV would probably like this.

If it's a white label then it's a different release and should be added even if the runouts are the same.

wrong release :) . . . . . . .

This one isn't red and there is no mention of the runouts. You probably have this one: The Twilight Sad - Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters

Down is a great tune. I saw this band countless times in San Francisco in the mid 90s, along with bands like Creeper Lagoon and Engine 88. Fun times!

This is supposedly being reissued this spring, 2020. . .

Does the label for this match Catherine Wheel - Ferment in both that it's silver/black and has track 1 misspelled as 'Teiture'?

This is really quite good. Starts off a little post-punk and reminds me of current bands like Deeper but soon veers off into a more dream pop style.

I don't believe I ever found it, and haven't spent any more time on it since I posted this. It sounds like it might need to be added as a new release from what I can deduce without digging out the album.

I'm surprised this isn't more popular. It's pretty solid. .

You wrote this on the 1998 CD release by the way

This has some decent tunes, and some real stinkers that I'm surprised made it past the demo stage, but unfortunately doesn't make me want to go back to it anytime soon.

I don't know what others are hearing at 'Dream at Tempo 119'. Maybe my copy doesn't have it but all I hear is the intended knob tweaking that's supposed to be there that Brian always does live, and the bleeps/bloops. I played my record ('Dream at...

I'm sure you likely know this by now but in case it helps anyone else... It's called Rare Groove Pilot and has a different recording of Sunshine Smile. They re-recorded it for Creation. http://www.aninacollins.com/Adorable-Rare-Groove-Pirate/release/3791617

This has a different recording of Sunshine Smile than their Creation releases, they re-recorded it for Creation. It's a must have! And it's a Porky Prime Cut too!

A very fine post-punk release. Fans of Interpol, Foals, or The Drums may like this.

↓ he's said the same for virtually every reissue by every band ever. It would be more believable if details and examples were provided.

I'm a fan of Garbage but Butch Vig owes Curve (Dean Garcia and Toni Halliday) a nice dinner for stealing their sound.
