Superior college band Lp. The PMA cuts most likely have Stanley Clarke on bass and Gerry Brown on drums. Too bad there's no musician credits because there are some great performances here, especially by the Creative Black Arts Sextet (anyone have any... See full review

A cassette version also exists. The B side has a live performance on it.

this record kicks ass y'all are wrong - a fantastic moment in Columbus soul (which is the foundation of numero's label)

The B-side is the first dub cut ever released, I don't know who mixed it but they made history

Fantastic record in Kinks/Stones style, yes derivative but very well done and all original songs

My copy of this with the identical matrix #s plays a totally different Lp. It's an organ session a la McDuff with guitar and horns and one vocal, a take of Give Me My Wig Back. Anyone know what this might be?

Mid 70s label, same as first pressing of Soul Vibrations Of Man which is from '76

Can anyone confirm the earlier version of this release mentioned above? Funny how there's never been a copy sold on eBay, no listing here on Discogs and no picture of it anywhere on the internet.

This image posted is from a different release, this issue cover has the AP Revival Series logo upper right front cover

This listing is erroneous and should be deleted, the label is Analogue Productions, not Riverside. The proper listing is here: http://www.aninacollins.com/release/3410593

This picture is O'Seis, not Os Kantikus. Also, there is already a listing for this group, this is redundant

My non-deep groove copy has a promo embossed sleeve, so did my deep groove copy I sold. This might be a title where promo versions outnumber the stock copies. I think both versions were pressed at the same time

First pressing has a deep groove and non-deep groove variant, the non-deep groove sounding noticeably better. Great and unique (mostly) acoustic Lp!

Actually my original copy has a 1975 date on the second disc as well as the first, so some original second discs survive. My second disc is fairly warped though so maybe they had to be re-pressed. Fortunately it plays fine on my turntable

Unfortunately packaged in an absurd oversized 'album' guaranteed not to fit on anybody's record shelf, hence the 40+ copies for sale by stores saddled with this albatross that nobody wants
