I feel like Track XL is the standout on this release. The others rock for sure, but the sounds he puts together on this track in particular have lineage to classic, early breaks releases.

The best rock album of the year; the arrangements are bright, the instrumentation impeccable, even the mixing and mastering were done with a perfectionists' approach. Forget lo-fi movements and off-the-cuff improvisations, this is a record of intent... See full review

One of the best releases on Animals Dancing; punchy, urgent, and the mixdown is immaculate.

More heavy, slick bangers from the great brain. As long as he keeps digging voci dal lago and their smart heirs, dude can do no wrong.

So cool to see Titonton Duvante bringing back one of the best and most creative labels from the 90s. Outstanding record all around. The Teakup track is dynamite, expect more great work from that producer in particular.

Massively slept-on set of heavy-hitters from the Midwest wunderkind. Every track has a velocity and heaviness that's still surprising and fun. Also, the mastering is exceptional, and all the levels rock on big soundsystems. Future classic.

Absolute knock out; Both tracks are balanced and mastered exceptionally well, and hit on big sound systems. We played this at a number of warehouse parties in the Midwest, and it always kept people on the dancefloor. Big love for Crew Love. Let's see... See full review

If you enjoy this, you may like Bluetrain / Roger Gerressen ?– Armchair Analyst / Long Overdue. Also Hakan Lidbo put out his Sustain ep, which is in this vein.

Smart, heady tracks from an excellent producer. The label run by DJ Ray picks superb material to release. Essential.

For those that weren't able to get a copy when it was new and less expensive, the more recent release from Tammo, Easy to See, has a not dissimilar approach of high-quality sound design and is worth your time. Same goes for the knock out by Brassica -... See full review

Dude is insanely talented and works crazy hard on the sound. This could use a press on wax, no doubt.

This is so crazy slept-on; bangers with heavy session players. Top notch.

True, and it's worth the money. The people that put all the hard work into making Prine records seem to consistently do a good job. A number of my contacts that have copies of his work spanning the decades all praise the quality of the physical... See full review

Good question. I would assume there's a decent chance that URP in Nashville is handling this one. I also wonder which stamps they are using to press these albums. If the existing stamps from the initial runs are being used, there's a chance they've... See full review

It's slightly reassuring to see the current photograph of the box set cover marked with a price sticker of $79.99, knowing that with all of the pressings that already exist of these four albums, any more money and a fan would arguably find a better... See full review

This record is actually pretty fun, especially the cheeky underground rework. There's something irresistible about it.

If you're into the vocals, the B side has a good instrumental backing it up.

In the notes above, it states that "(the) album has been remastered from old analogue sources." Was it lifted from the cassette release, a reproduction from a vinyl copy, or an original, master analogue source?

Tracks that absolutely smack of early John Carpenter and science fiction soundtracks. Brutal and effective, and entirely slept-on. Acid Tongues is especially menacing.

Excellent EP front front to back. The A1 cut with Honey Soundsystem's Jason Kendig is smashing, as is the A2; a peak-hour party track. Smart and surprising, with lots of energy. This EP is crazy slept-on. RIP J.I.

This is an astonishingly accomplished record. The reverb and echo effects on the vocals are a smart touch, and the clarity of the instrumentation is exceptional.

B Side is bomb. Gets rinsed by capital "P" professionals like the legend Eddie C.

Don't pay more than 3 USD for this one in NM or VG+ condition.

A reissue divided over at least two pieces of wax would be ideal. With this many cuts on a single plate, you can't really push the volume up too much on a sound system without it feeding back.

The Lotus Mix is the keeper on this one. Aside from a few moments that verge on being cheesy or dated, it holds its ground as an excellent track.

He's absolutely right, the Sunset mix is a solid cut. It holds up incredibly well.

The Bardelli cut holds up the best. The build-ups need some fader work, cutting them out for 2 measures or whatever the time frame is, but the groove is solid and fun, with the vocals being spare enough not to sink the track.

This is an increasingly powerful record throughout. It's a similar approach to Makcim & Levi; twisting, funky drum patterns and sick basslines.

Everything T. Hardy releases is excellent. It's always worth picking up copies of his work.

The track 100% Total Success holds up fairly well as a deep house excursion. The strings bring the track up, the vocals are a decent abstraction, and the bass treads water alongside modern tracks.

Sellers seem to be listing the repress alongside this version, which, if given the accurate release date, should include a bonus 7" of Signs Along The Path.
