Though Albert King plays slide guitar on 4 tracks (Little Red Rooster, Money, Rock Me, Who Do You Love) the CDs are mainly for Doors fans. On all tracks Jim Morrison is performing the vocals. I would have preferred Albert sing accompanying his guitar playing. His voice is more relaxed and powerful than Jim's. The first track 'Roadhouse Blues' is only identical with respect to the title to Albert's song on the albums 'Blues at Sunrise' and 'Roadhouse Blues'. Both songs were written independently by the Doors and by Albert. The version of the Doors is straight blues-rock whereas Albert's is more traditional electric blues.
The sound of the recording is a bit compressed. But as a document the recording is historic.
