Show All 20 Reviews- Excellent album, but I'm not impressed with this pressing. Some surface noise, but nothing crazy. My main issue is the mastering. It's one of those records that no matter how loud it's playing you feel inclined to turn it up because it doesn't sound loud enough. It's flat and muddy. This vocal performance deserved far better.
- Am I the only person who seems to have a copy of this with a second copy of the poster, apparently signed with gold marker?
- No complaints from me, no complaints at all! Light surface noise only during quiet passages.
Looks beautiful, NM seems like the real article. - I gave mine a quick clean upon arrival given some said their copies were noisy, and my copy sounds flawless. Zero surface noise and a terrific, dynamic pressing. Best of all, the music itself is incredible. Very easy to recommend this edition.
- one of my new favorite albums!! Weyes Blood is so incredibly creative and i'm obsessed with how often her music blends genres and moods together to create something truly evocative and ethereal. i pre-ordered this purple vinyl version and the purple-shell cassette from her merch site and could not be happier with them!! the purple design is gorgeous and it sounds beautiful on my turntable & speaker set-up. 10000/10 ??
- The pressing I purchased new retail is perfectly noise-free. The color is smoky swirl vs. straight translucent.
- Big improvement on the titanic rising vinyl, mastering has a lot more life and energy to it. Still noticeably noisy but it’s not as distracting as it was on Titanic Rising. Packaging is beautiful, vinyl looks stunning, overall very solid pressing!
- anyone elses copy have weird streaks on the cover? looks like the printer malfunctioned or something lmao. it sounds amazing tho mastering is perfect and the sound is flat and quiet
- Ordered mine on release day, just now received it in the mail 3 days later. Looks beautiful, not so sure if I'll play it though.
- anyone else "pre-order" this months ago, but still going to have to wait another whole week before it gets delivered? i swear the last 5 pre-orders i've made have been a shit show. i can remember a time when you'd pre-order a record and it would actually show up on the day it got released--or even a day early. what a concept.
