Show All 18 Reviews- Edición simplemente perfecta. No he detectado ningún problema de prensado, clicks o pops. No veo motivo de queja alguno.
- I played this on my revised Quad 33-303 amp through some B&O S45-2 speakers (Rega P2 turntable with Nagaoka MP 100 cartridge) and was really blown away by the sound of this record. I tested a lot of records in a short time on this set up and this one stood out. Definitely recommended.
- Amazing press. Nice sound. Bass is clear. Fastlove to my taste has got more bass than digital press.
But for God Sake. Jesus to a Child sounds just fenomenal. After sad Elton John's Remaster of The One album - this is just fantastic sound copy. - Stands up to a direct comparison to the original just now, which is nice in these days of sometimes awful represses!
- Edited 4 months agoGlad to have this great album on vinyl at last. It sounds slightly different to my original CD, not as ‘digital’ and brittle.
I love it though.
Pressing is clean, clear and the soundstage is a bit wider and deeper than my CD version. No sibilance or distortion and hardly any background noise, bass is warm and rich (modded technics SL1200MK2 with Benz Micro headshell/stylus into musical fidelity X-LP phono stage into Marrantz PM6007 amp)
Mine is perfectly flat with no pops crackles or infil. Nice heavy plates as well.
I also always clean all my new vinyl before playing.
In fact this pressing ‘sings’ revealing details I’d not heard on the CD.
Probably one of the best pressings I’ve bought this year.
It looks amazing as well, packaging is great. Bunged some lined paper sleeves on them to protect them from those stiff card inner sleeves.
At last a pressing that does justice to the source material.
Beautiful, no complaints here.
Also a bittersweet experience as it reinforces just how much George is missed and what an amazing vocalist he was as well as an artist, the vocals are wonderfully staged and mixed on this making it a magical and engrossing listen. :(
Now please issue ‘Patience’ on double vinyl!! :)
Then I’ll be truly happy… - This one sounds really good to me. No pops, no sibilance, deep base. Great presentation also.
beauteful colored vinyl, thick cardboard. Great indeed. - Edited 4 months agoFor me, this is the nicest of the four coloured vinyl variants. It's the only translucent version and the lovely emerald green matches the colour of George's iris on the front cover.
Such wild discrepancies in the resale prices people here are asking. Why, I ask myself? - Despite significant delays from the official release since pre-Order, I finally got mine and had a quick spin on the green Lps lastnight ,the SQ is not bad at all as what others said ( I probably have a high tolerance level for old pop albums ). 1st disc is very warped but 2nd piece is flat, overall they’re quiet with all tracks. The dynamic isn't very outstanding but way above acceptable range.. Well, this isn't a n audiophile pressing afterall, and I can't afford the OG copy that's ripping off and have no BLACK edition to compare against unfortunately.
IMO, this is still a good pressing to be considered collecting !
