Chuck D - freedBLACK (7" Edit) / Blacknificent (Remixx) midnightrunner

August 8, 2019
My mam's toyboy Gavin listens to all of these new "mumble" rappers, and "Soundcloud" rappers like Lil Xanax, Lil Tommy and Lil Baby, but personally, I think they are very wack and bogus as you can't even understand what they are on about most of the time, and even when you can, they often rhyme the same words together which is just plain silly. I would love nothing better than to tie up my mam's toyboy Gavin to a chair using electrical cord and then make him listen to BOTH SIDES of this Chuck D record, as it might teach him a thing or two about proper enunciation, rhyme and meter!!

Chuck D - freedBLACK (7" Edit) / Blacknificent (Remixx) HomeDiggin

July 21, 2019

A dream come true for the ORIGU label (and probably any label) will get it's official release on July 19:
ORIGU45-011 is by non other than Public Enemy's Chuck D and it features original dope Hip Hop
tracks that will make DJs want to put them on, collectors want to chase them and listeners want to
play them over and over again.
Two exclusive versions of material from Chuck D's current LP “Celebration Of Ignorance” (SpitSlam)
re-edited and remixed by producer extraordinaire C-Doc for a slamming 7” doublesider.
“freedBLACK(7” Edit)” is a special version of the album mix with an extra hook featured for extended
club play. On the flipside there is the return of the Posse track with a brandnew version of
“Blacknificent” with an all new instrumental and added features of SpitSlam artists Blak Madeen and
The Impossebulls.
In honor of Public Enemy's milestone release “It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back” this 45
comes with a Silver Side and Black Side and special label design.
The record is available through the label website www.origu.de.
