My copy sounds absolutely perfect. Digital version definitely feels inferior to the vinyl. Definitely one of the best pressings in my library.

Such perfect lo-fi indie music, to listen to, when you are using a straw to ruefully suck up the sludgy chocolatey milk that is leftover, after you have finished eating all of your cereal.

The vinyl is flat and generally silent. My copy does suffer from very slight distortion every now and then, which I fear is due to nonfill issues, but maybe a thorough cleaning will resolve this. The mastering is done very well, there is a clear seperation between the instruments, the drums sound tight and the vocals are nicely centred, but (of course) this is not a hifi recording. The gatefold sleeve, inner and insert have a glossy finish, which looks pretty nice.

As for the music, it's not their best record. Being influenced by their side-project, it's probably not that surprising that it sort of sounds like a side-project or a collection of B-sides. However, as always, there are quite a lot of tracks on here with original and interesting songwriting, so I'm glad I picked this up.

I bought mine in Banquet Records and it came with neither the shrink wrap nor the stickers. The pink colour is cool but the vinyl has some short non-fill issues throughout side A. Very good mastering but average to bad pressing.
