The most overrated album in the PF Catalogue. Can't stand it. Only own it for completing collection. And as for Comfortably Numb... utter bollocks.

I just bought the 2016 remaster and it is the more dirty pressing I had to date.. I pulled it out of the cardboard sleeves and it was full of tiny bits of paper. all over all sides of both discs.. Plus the lead in has 2 scratches that stop a mm from the music.. And I do not know yet if it has more problems since I still can not get it fully clean. So it is full of pops .. Total BS

the curse in this edition? , first pressing bought second scratched disc, back to the fnac, this time it is the first, I do not understand folds is this rigid cardboard sleeve, which protects the recorder does this problem?, I do not know.
exchange refuses this time, I end up with discs with scrtachs ..
first time this happens to me, and you even sentence?

I don't any reason to take the risk on a first press. This is a fantastic press. Imaging, soundstage, vocals, details of instruments... it's just breathtaking. The helicopter sound on the "Another brick on the wall" felt like it was in the room. I literally stopped what I was doing when I played this record for the first time. Dazzling.

I just played it through and the sound is a-ma-zing but i must say that i haven't listend to this album since like forever. Sounds incredibly deep and layered, christal clear. The only thing that is too heavy for my liking is the Bass. So much so that i had to adjust it to be able to listen to it comfortably on my Kef q15s. I immediately replaced the sleeves because they are too rigid i think.

This reissue knocked my socks off the first time I listened to it. I only intended to listen to the first side to see how it sounded but ended up sitting through the whole thing. This is a seriously good reissue.

I don't know if it's only my copy or not but the high frequencies are muffled on this pressing. Looking to the reviews below I may be the only one here but my copy is simply crap. I purchased the whole series and The Wall and Meddle are sub par, the rest is very good.
