I just picked up the Pallas version and though some of the songs sound great, there is one track with some hiss and last track on side 1 had some pops and clicks.

One more detail, the first run was released into a polybag and sold at Record Store Day 2011. Next run has shrink wrap.

I found this Pallas Pressed K1 today at Best Buy. Thanks for the head ups. Its better than my '77 Ken Perry Jacksonville pressing.

I echo the other remarks here - this Pallas pressing is simply amazing, the real deal - what all vinyl should sound like, and the reason that those of us who love vinyl so much do! Can't recommend enough. Stay away from the EU pressing, it looks identical but sounds horrific - make sure it's the Pallas Made in US version. PopMarket's listings are NOT the Pallas version - they are EU - avoid. It's a barcode/catalog number issue that the label has created here - they left numbers the same between the two versions so sellers do not know what they're going to receive nor do most understand any differences. PopMarket acknowledged they sent the wrong one, but said they had NONE of the actual Pallas pressings (but if you look, they are still advertised on this Pallas version listing in Discogs). To their credit they've offered full refund. Used another seller listed here that guaranteed the Pallas version - worth every penny!

Hands down the best sounding vinyl I own. Even the look and feel of this Pallas pressing seems different. All records should have this amount of care and attention put to them. Superb.

To save everyone some time Pop Market seems to sell the EU version. If you’re in Canada, Urban Outfitters still sells 517786-1

First off, this pressing sounds fantastic, very happy to have it. Second off I'd like to comment on the confusion of these different pressings and how to know if it's a SH&KG one or not.
I initially bought a copy maybe 5 years ago that I thought was this pressing, but was not. It had 517786-1 on spine, back cover matched US version as well, golden hype sticker however has "1-517786 (K2)" and no "Pressed at Pallas". Upon opening, the record label itself has the EU number of 9362-49793-5, instead of 517786-1, "Made in the E.U.", and deadwax is similar to EU but with 'MK' instead of 'HL'. This is exactly what mine was:
A side - BB33893-01 A 4 MK [looks like stamped '3' scribbled out before carved '4', MK is carved]
B side - BB33893-01 B4 MK [MK carved, rest stamped]
So to clarify the 3 different versions:
1) If hype has "9362-49793-5" and back cover mentions "Manufactured in the E.U.", you know it's EU version; NOT SH&KG cut.
2) If cover matches US version in all ways, however hype has "1-517786 (K2)" and no "Pressed at Pallas", it is a sneaky EU cut inside, and NOT SH&KG cut.
3) If cover is US version and hype has "Pressed at Pallas" and "1-517786 (K1)", it IS SH&KG cut.
I played some of my sneaky EU copy right before playing the correct SH&KG cut and WOW what a difference!
